The lawmaker urged residents to cooperate with the government in efforts to find solutions to the problem.
The lawmakers unanimously adopted the committee’s recommendations as resolutions of the House.
The Agbelebu Solidarity Forum has inaugurated canvassers across wards in Agege Constituency I in Lagos to mobilise voters for President Bola Tinubu.
“Currently, the tenancy bill is at the committee stage at the House of Assembly,” the Lagos government stated.
Residents described the declaration as victory for grassroots politics.
The directives came from the party’s state chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi.
According to him, the process was peaceful, transparent, and reflected unity within the party.
“I grew up learning everything I knew in politics through him,” he said.
He said the lawmaker was not straightforward about his role in Mr Obasa’s impeachment saga.
He said party leaders in the constituency encouraged him to join the race.
