The police stated that the suspect was apprehended at his hideout in the Agbado area of Ogun State.
The police noted that no one was above the law.
The police enjoined the public to be peaceful, law-abiding, and uphold the peace currently enjoyed in the state.

The police spokesperson said that the suspect led a team of operatives to where he sold the cars.
He said the suspects involved in the fight that led to the man’s death had been apprehended and were currently in police custody.
As of the time of filing this report, it has yet to be ascertained if the incident escalated.
He said Commissioner of Police Olarenwaju Ishola ordered the release of the suspects after discussing with one of the protest organisers, Omoyele Sowore, in his office.
