Mr Iwindoye said drivers demand fair compensation for services rendered and safer working conditions for drivers and passengers.
“Let us show these companies that we are not just individual drivers, but a united force that won’t be ignored,” added the statement.
The union expressed dissatisfaction with the conditions of work put in place by platforms like Lagride, Uber, bolt and indriver.
“We want to showcase Lagos as a choice tourism destination to the world.’’
Governor Charles Soludo’s government has sent officials to Lagos to understudy the South-West state’s ferry operations.
The union is demanding a 200 per cent increase on fare trips, reduced companies’ commission by 50 per cent, and profile riders adequately, among others.
