Former commissioner Isah Kantigi has polled 667 vote to win the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election in Niger.
The protesters insisted that delegates must present a valid means of identification.
Mr Babayemi, after the court session, told reporters that the matter was a “family affair”.
“We are all affected by the ongoing ASUU strike. But don’t allow it to derail you into criminal or antisocial activities.”
The court is to determine the PDP flag bearer for the July 16 governorship election in Osun.
The former senator scored 1,887 votes. His closest rival, Sanya Omirin, scored four votes, the return said.
This comes as fuel scarcity, which sells at a national price of N165 per litre, remains unabated.
