The residents spoke on Thursday in Yenagoa, in the build-up to Nigeria’s June 12 Democratic Day celebration.
Mrs Ade-Ajayi stated, “Making the candidates’ names public gives room for objections where necessary and strengthen confidence in the judicial appointment process.”
The case was adjourned until December 9 for continuation of trial.
Mr Jideobi is also asking the court to bar INEC from accepting or publishing Mr Jonathan’s name as a presidential candidate in any future election.

The police began enforcing the policy on February 1, following a directive by IGP Kayode Egbetokun.
