The defectors cited unresolved internal crises at all levels in the ADC for their decisions.
The lawmaker won his seat in 2019 and 2023 on the ADC platform.
“Do the right thing, you’re the party; nobody can take your party away from you,” Mr Gbajabiamila said.
Mr Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives on the platform of ADC, had instituted the suit.
Mr Abejide said on Monday at a news conference in Abuja at the National Assembly that he would move to the APC if the crisis in the ADC persisted.
He advised the governor-elect in Kogi State, Usman Ododo, to demonstrate love for the people with all his heart.
