The NPA, in its “Daily Shipping Position,” said two of the expected vessels would berth with petrol.
Mr Sanwo-Olu stated this at the 75th-anniversary celebration of China, held on Monday at Lekki, Lagos.
NPA said 17 vessels are expected to berth at Lagos ports on Friday, adding that three would berth with containers of different goods.
“The Islamic Development Bank President announced the provision of $50 billion U.S. Dollars of new investment for the African continent from the Arab Coordination Group.”
The president is in Lagos on a two-day working visit during which time he’s expected to commission several projects by the state government.
“I present to you the man that has what it takes to lead this country forward to the prosperous future with renewed hope,” said the Lagos governor.
“The CCECC have not brought anything to the table…If I don’t get that money on the ground, I know what to advise Mr President to do,” Mr Sambo threatened.
The minister explained that the project, when completed, would create more economic activities and jobs for teeming youths.
“The Lekki Deep Seaport, when completed and operational in the third quarter of 2023, will be the most modern port in West Africa,” the governor disclosed.
