Mr Ememobong described the directive of the minister as an attempt to use force to suppress political dissent and opposition.
The Turaki-led party faction accused Mr Wike of intimidation.
Mr Olayinka said the minister had been quoted out of context and described the statement as hyperbolic.
Mr Wike stated, “For me this is a job well done, you can see we are not over decorating, this is what they call proper arrangement.”
He said the suspect lured the victims into believing that he worked with the FCT minister.
Mr Wike promised to stand by the family and ensure a befitting burial in honour of the late senator.
Mr Wike added, “I know after today, other states may inaugurate their own structures, but Rivers State will always lead the way.”
Mr Daura, who became the Director, FCT Protocol in 2019, will retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026.
The doctors particularly lauded Mr Wike for his commitment to the welfare of health workers in the FCT, describing it as “exemplary leadership.”
He stated, “The South must complete their eight years. It doesn’t matter which party we belong to give Mr President the needed support to succeed.”
