Wike appoints Sani Daura assistant on protocol matters

Mr Daura, who became the Director, FCT Protocol in 2019, will retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced the appointment of Sani Musa Daura as his senior special assistant on protocol matters.

The announcement was contained in a statement by Mr Wike’s assistant on public communications and social media, Lere Olayinka, on Wednesday.

Mr Olayinka decribed Mr Daura as a seasoned civil servant with over 30 years experience in the federal capital territory administration’s protocol department.

According to the statement, Mr Daura, who became the Director, FCT Protocol in 2019, will retire from the civil service on January 24, 2026.

Mr Olayinka said his appointment took effect from the date of his retirement from the civil service.
