Mr Irabor said the military will ensure a peaceful period in the coming elections so that every one of us will have a country we will be proud of.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has called on Nigeria’s military authorities to prioritise the welfare of soldiers to motivate them in the fight against bandits and insurgents.
“Recent happenings in various TOOs reveal an increase in cases of aiding and abetting by personnel.”
Many Nigerians have been displaced from their homes due to attacks by the Boko Haram members, now repentant terrorists.

The military wants other governors to emulate the Rivers state governor to assist it in securing Nigeria’s oil and gas assets.
“A patriotic youth will desist from corrupt conduct because he/she knows that corruption is inimical to national development.”
