Madagali has become a safe haven for displaced families seeking refuge from insecurity and attacks in nearby areas.
Ms Piccin noted with concern that the humanitarian consequences of the conflict were coming back to Madagali due to its border with Southern Borno.
Mr Jatau said the initiative would boost the agriculture sector by providing farmers and youths with essential farm inputs as they prepared for the season.

The NEMA official also advised residents to cultivate the habit of listening to radio for relevant information.
The federal government says it disbursed N339.50 million to about 16,975 vulnerable women and youths in Adamawa.
Many affected persons are in urgent need of food, shelter and medication to prevent outbreak of waterborne diseases, an official said.
