Mr Nwachukwu said the army chief directed all the newly appointed senior officers to bring renewed vigour, dedication and commitment to their duties.
Mr Oluyede emphasised the importance and effectiveness of tailoring operations to address specific security threats.
Mr Nwachukwu stated, “We guarantee that the process will be fair, impartial, and in line with our established procedures.’’
The army spokesperson said the meeting would measure the army’s activities in the second and third quarters.

Mr Nwachukwu added that the soldier was on a welfare pass from April 30 to May 13, when he was arrested.

A statement by army spokesman, Maj.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, on Friday, said troops also rescued the victim and apprehended the suspect.
