The management of Kwara State University, in Malete, has confirmed the death of a 400-level student, Idris Agboluaje, in a road crash in Malete on Wednesday.
The move is described as a precaution meant to safeguard the university community.
He said that third-party deductions have not been paid in most Nigerian universities.
The university noted that the promotion was ratified at the council’s 73rd meeting on Thursday.
The Council of Legal Education (CLE) for the academic session had suspended law programmes for violating regulatory procedures.
Mr AbdulRazaq said this during KWASU’s 12th convocation ceremony on Saturday in Malete.
The vice-chancellor said that the institution was faced with land encroachment.
The management of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, says it has expelled 175 students for various offences.
Two of the programmes are at the undergraduate level while 11 are postgraduate programmes.
The circular added that the implementation of the package took effect from January 2024.
