The market capitalisation dropped by N162 billion or 0.53 per cent to close at N30.238 trillion as against the N30.4 trillion recorded on Tuesday.
A total of 154.63 million shares valued at N5.51 billion were exchanged in 3,095 deals.
The market capitalisation gained N84 billion or 0.29 per cent to close at N28.733 trillion, compared to N28.649 trillion.
The market capitalisation dropped by N18 billion or 0.06 per cent to close at N28.646 trillion.
The total volume traded decreased to N1.44 billion from N2.57 billion on Tuesday and exchanged in 3,745 deals.

The selloffs were in stocks of Unity Bank, FCMB, Zenith Bank, NPF Microfinance Bank (NPFMFB), Caverton and Transcorp.
The Financial Services Industry led the chart with 1.120 billion shares valued at N10.889 billion and traded in 13,514 deals.
The market capitalisation shed N39.64 billion to close at N25.442 trillion compared with N25.463 trillion posted on Tuesday.
The upturn was impacted by gains in the following stocks: Dangote Cement, BUA Foods, MRS Oil, Vitafoam and PZ Cussons.
