A breakdown of the price movement chart shows that FTNCocoa topped the laggards’ chart in percentage terms shedding 7.89 per cent.
Market capitalisation rose by N104 billion to close at N22.598 trillion from N22.494 trillion posted on Thursday.
The market closed negative with 24 laggards relative to 14 gainers.
The market capitalisation rose by N1 billion to close at N22.576 trillion.
The total volume of trades dipped 6.80 per cent to 293.43 million units valued at N4.29 billion exchanged in 4,239 deals.
UPDC topped the losers’ chart in percentage terms, shedding 9.47 per cent to close at N1.53 per share.
The downturn was as a result of sell-off sentiments in all major sectors, except the consumer goods sector.
Analysts attributed the rebound to investors’ reaction to the third quarter results released by some companies at the exchange recently.
The All-Share Index inched lower by 25.35 points or 0.06 per cent to close at 41,789.59 from 41,814.94 achieved on Tuesday.
The market positive performance was driven by price appreciation in large and medium capitalised stocks.
