The suspects were arrested on the Mile 2 Bridge in Lagos.
Mr Babafemi said the arrest followed credible intelligence.
He directed that the operational model be replicated across other high-risk urban centres nationwide.
He said the interception came five years after the NDLEA first seized the deadly terror drug in Lagos.
NDLEA officers on February 13, raided a four-bedroom duplex at 2 Alexandria Terrace, Ikate-Elegushi, Lekki, used for the production and storage of Colorado, a synthetic cannabis.
Mr Babafemi said that the drugs, concealed in factory sealed sachets of cold-water starch, heading to the United Kingdom.
Mr Babafemi stated that the NDLEA operatives also arrested a music artist whose stage name is Steady Boy was on Thursday, October 30.
Mr Babafemi said that a total of 10,897.35kg skunk was destroyed on four farms, measuring 4.358938 hectares at Ugbodo forest, Ovia North East LGA in Edo State, on Friday, October 3.
He added that a freight agent and member of the syndicate was the first to be arrested.
Mr Marwa stated, “Instead of living in fear of arrest by NDLEA, they will lead respectable lives with their families and their communities.”
