Mr Babafemi said the arrest followed credible intelligence.
The agency said it secured 16 convictions within the period.
The NDLEA spokesman also said that in Edo, operatives, on March 23, uncovered a warehouse in Ekpoma town, Esan West LGA
Mr Ahamefule said the various drugs seized include cannabis sativa, heroin, methamphetamine, tramadol, diazepam, and psychotropic substances.
Mr Ofoyeju urged community members to support ongoing operations by providing credible intelligence on drug activities.
Synthetic drugs, such as methamphetamine, have driven a global surge in drug abuse.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency says it arrested 1,345 suspects and seized 8,430.239kg of illicit substances in 2024.
The NDLEA commander said those arrested included 839 males and 90 females.
Earlier, officials uncovered 508 packages hidden among a shipment of celery in similar circumstances.
The NDLEA said the suspects were arrested, and the warehouses linked to the drugs were “taken down”.
