Mr Owolabi also called on all churches in the country to address social issues.

He added that national security would enable Nigerians to travel without fearing kidnappers.

“There were soldiers all from Fulani extraction around the area at Nnoma junction, and these boys were going behind them.”
Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria was kidnapped along with others by yet to be identified gunmen, who are demanding that relatives pay N100 million ransom.
“All the bishops in Lagos will mobilise our members, our votes must go to Sanwo-Olu,” the clergymen were reported to have said.
The former president said Nigerians have everything to gain by being united rather than disunited.
“Let every Bishop and Archbishop tell our members that MCN does not support gay or same-sex marriage.”
