Mr Achimugu stated, “Also to provide for people with disabilities by incorporating a mandatory special needs or assistance request feature on their ticket reservation systems.”
There was no report of injury or significant damage to the aircraft.
Mr Achimugu stated the NCAA issued a sanction letter on Wednesday to the airline.
The NCAA said, “Passengers should not be put in a position where they are denied entry or returned to Nigeria only on arrival at intermediate/transit stops.’’
The suspension is to enable internal appraisal of the airline’s operations.

The statement noted that the NCAA appreciated the public’s understanding and patience as Arik Air handled the situation with minimal disruption.
Mr Keyamo had sued Mr Abubakar and the ICPC over a corruption allegation by Michael Achimugu, former aide to the ex-vice president.
Justice James Omotosho vowed to struck out the suit on the next adjourned date if Mr Keyamo was not ready to prosecute the case diligently.
