Mr Buhari, a one-time military leader, rode to power on anti-corruption rhetoric in 2015.
Mr Alli also prayed to the Almighty to bless the Olubadan with sound health, uncommon wisdom and many more years on the throne.
The minister urged Nigerians to maintain faith and continue to support the government.
The minister lamented that underperformance by electricity distribution companies (DisCos) was derailing sector-wide progress.
The minister said that the overhaul of the DisCos was also aimed to demonstrate a replicable model for operational turnaround.
The project, valued at $500 million and supported by the World Bank, aims to deliver large-scale multi-purpose infrastructure for irrigation and hydropower generation.
The power minister says the federal government’s intervention in the power sector has helped to stimulate the Siemens project further.
Mr Adelabu said, “The target of M300 is to extend energy access to an additional 300 million Africans by 2030 out of the 600 million currently lacking access.’
The minister also prayed for Nigeria’s peace, progress, and prosperity.
He argued that the electricity band system had created an unnecessary class divide.
