Mr Utsev explained that the achievements were part of efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6.
The minister said that additional assistance was required to meet the growing demands of the agricultural and energy sectors.
He added that over 1,300 young people have been trained in technical fields such as pump installation and drilling technology.
Mr Utsev noted that floods were among the most devastating natural disasters affecting lives.
He added that the ministry was also considering generating power at the dam to improve electricity supply in the country.
Mr Utsev said that access to safe water was a priority under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The minister warned that the government would not condone those who produce gadgets that are not standard.

The minister sought collaboration in the Open Defecation Free Nigeria Campaign to improve sanitation nationwide.
