The Rivers government has revoked the ₦134 billion contract awarded to the CCECC for the renovation, retrofitting, and furnishing of the state secretariat complex.
A tricycle operator, Kola Abass, told journalists that the poor condition of roads in the state capital was affecting operators’ livelihood and daily income.
“I read the avalanche of comments on social media after the Ojude Oba festival and the criticism on the state of our roads not just in Ijebu but the entire state,” said Mr Daniel.
Mr Otti said, “All the 90 roads were done by our Ministry of Works by direct labour, and some of them fit into our Zero Pothole Policy.”
