Unknown gunmen have kidnapped a Nigerian football coach, Stanley Eguma.
Police command in Enugu has announced launching a manhunt for unknown gunmen (UGM) who murdered a man on Sunday evening.
“Ebonyi people are grateful to President Muhammadu Buhari for all his assistance and if people do not see his goodness, he has been good to us.”
The fire is suspected to have been caused by a leakage in the fuel tank of the filling station’s power generating set.
“They succeeded in completely razing down the buildings in the divisional station.”
He disclosed that firefighters from the state’s fire service put out the fire at about 10:30 p.m.
The police chief stated that security forces prevented the gunmen from burning down the facility on Sunday night.
The police spokesman said the feuding rival cultists shot sporadically along the stretch of the ever-busy Ogui Road.
The bandits shot the man’s wife on the leg and another person in the stomach while escaping.
The police chief said the result was achieved with the collaboration with the NDLEA, FRSC and Neighbourhood Watch Group in the state.
