Three people were killed after a bus plunged into a river in Ibadan.
Several shops were razed by fire on Monday night at Iya Maryam Adebara Complex in the Ogunpa Market area of Ibadan.
The fire service chief said the incident occurred when the man tried to rescue a goat that had fallen into the well and was trapped.
Mr Akinwande said that the incident, which happened on Friday, completely razed the six-room residential bungalow.
The fire burnt down the RSK Adebowale Multipurpose Filling station, a petrol tanker, and a motorcycle at the Ofiki area in Saki.
The fire on Monday reportedly destroyed eight of 84 shops in the area.
The incident occurred early Friday at about 12:15 a.m.
A fire outbreak on Thursday razed the training office of Sun Watt’s Solar and Electrical Company Plc, located in the Iwo Road area of Ibadan.
Mr Akinwande said that the deceased fell into a deep well located at Orita Mokola Junction, Seedu Sabarumu, Sango area of the town.
One of the victims, Rukayat AbdulLateef, said the fire consumed two shops with over N50 million worth of goods.
