“You are being sent not to titles, but to souls. Your first parish is the home. If you strengthen families, you will strengthen the nation,” Mr Ndukuba said.
According to him, the resurrection of Jesus is a historical fact and the foundation of the Christian faith.
Mr Ndukuba urged Nigerians, especially Christians, to love one another just as Christ loved them and gave himself for their sake.
Mr Ndukuba emphasised the church’s historical role in pioneering healthcare in Nigeria.
He said Nigeria was going through a siege, which required God’s intervention.
The cleric said that the country’s economy was in a bad shape.
