Mr Matendechero noted that Kenya developed a comprehensive mpox vaccination strategy based on international best practices.
The WHO called on countries to promote and protect the right to health, in principle and practice.
Vaccines are expected in the country in December, as Kenya is one of five African nations set to receive 50,000 doses of the mpox vaccine under a WHO-led initiative.
