ICPC has announced the recovery of N13 billion diverted public funds in September.
“This technology, as I have mentioned, has the capability to address numerous issues,” he said.
“Local governments must be governed by democratically elected people from the grassroots,” said the ICPC chair.
Mr Aliyu emphasised that corruption was a cancer that eroded public trust.
He underscored the need for both ICPC and COREN to be committed to transparency and integrity.
The ICPC chairman said the corruption challenges in Nigeria could only be abolished if all Nigerians joined hands with the commission and changed their attitude.
“We at ICPC, we are going after anybody that goes against the decision of the Supreme Court on the issue of local government autonomy,” said Mr Aliyu
Mr Olukoyede said the western world would be made to pay interest on recovered stolen assets domiciled in their countries.
Governor Abba Yusuf has assured ICPC of maximum cooperation in the fight against corruption in Kano.
“Together, we have the opportunity to shape the future of ICPC.”
