The speaker also called for compassion and generosity toward the less privileged during the celebrations.
Mr Dagaceri said the holiday would allow residents in the state to participate in the Islamic New Year celebrations.
“Let us use this opportunity to foster love, unity, and peaceful coexistence in our communities,” said Mr Bello.
The federal government has declared June 6 and 9 as public holidays to enable the Muslim faithful to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
The minister also prayed for Nigeria’s peace, progress, and prosperity.
The minister further expressed hope that Eid-el-Fitr would bring people together.
Mr Obi noted that the current economic challenges call for us to support one another.
