The returnees brought back comprised 46 male adults, 62 female adults, two male and six female children, as well as four female and six male infants.
Mr Ahmed pointed out that the humanitarian crises in the country were threats to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
The returnees were brought back to the country by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) through a voluntary repatriation programme.
“Here you have all the freedom to achieve your potential,” the National Emergency Management Agency told the returnees.
Responding on behalf of the IDPs in Mani, a member of the House of Representatives from the area, Aminu Mani, appreciated the gesture.
Some of the relief materials include food items like rice, maize, guinea corn, vegetable oil and seasoning cubes, and non-food items like mattresses, blankets and buckets.
Mr Farinloye said that the returnees were 63 male adults, 73 female adults, 15 male and 13 female children, six female infants and eight male infants.
Some of the items include 120 bags of 10kg rice, 120 bags of 10kg beans, 120 bags of 10kg maize, 10 bags of 50kg salt and 50 cartons of bath soap.
