The APC candidate, Dikko Radda, won the governorship election with 859,892 votes.
Mr Inuwa explained that during the presidential election, PDP won the state, so they are assuring their supporters that they will still win the next election.
The PDP had alleged that the state government denied it permission to use the stadium known as ‘Karkanda stadium’ for its campaign.
“He is not supposed to betray the party and Masari after all the favour they have done to him and others. We are not happy about his defection.”
The cattle markets were earlier closed as part of measures to tackle cattle rustling and banditry in the state.
