Abba Aliyu, REA’s managing director, commended Mr Mutfwang for the vision toward revitalising the energy sector, a major driver of economic growth in Plateau.
Governor Caleb has urged Plateau residents to trust in God amid the country’s current economic hardship.
“If you are a parent, don’t encourage your children to participate in examination malpractice,” he urged.
Mr Mutfwang initially imposed a 24-hour curfew last Saturday after irate youths began vandalising properties.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang has admitted that he and other elected officeholders were not voted into power to complain or pass the buck of governance.
According to him, the governors stand in solidarity with the people of Plateau and affected families during this difficult time.
The PLASIEC chair pledged to carry out Mr Mutfwang’s directive to ensure that the people’s choices counted in the third tier of government.
Mr Mutfwang described the attack as unfortunate and unacceptable.
The governor said his administration would not tolerate any further breakdown of law and order in any part of the state.
“What is happening is not an issue in Jos city,” the governor’s office said.
