Since the coup in 2021, Myanmar has been sinking into chaos and violence.
Africa has experienced seven coups since August 2020, before the one on Wednesday in Gabon. Others are Niger, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Mali, Guinea, and Chad.
At least 120,000 people are believed to be affected in Myanmar alone, with 100,000 more in Cambodia.
