The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria says it is committed to conducting a hitch-free 2025 Hajj operation.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has pledged more refunds for the poor services rendered to the 2023 Hajj pilgrims.
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), on Monday in Abuja, inaugurated a committee to screen and verify accommodation and service providers for the 2025 Hajj
Mr Musa explained that the refund was due to the Masha’ir (core Hajj period) electricity services not being rendered properly by the Saudi authorities during the 2023 Hajj.
NAHCON stated that the delay in resolving certain financial issues stemmed from the complexities of hajj operations.
Mr Tamunobifiri allegedly obtained and distributed classified government documents, destroyed evidence and contravened relevant money laundering and cybercrime laws.
AHUON has directed its members to suspend all actions concerning the 2025 Hajj preparation until further notice.
He served previously as the chairman of Kano state pilgrims board.
Mr Arabi commended stakeholders for their cooperation.
Mr Bago said that he will lead a committee of state governors to meet relevant authorities for a review of the commission.
