The scheduled nationwide strike is to press home the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed on November 29, 2025.
The medical director of the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja, Saad Ahmed, has warned that ongoing strikes by health unions could threaten healthcare delivery nationwide.
Mr Salako said the federal government was already addressing the 19-point demands presented by NARD.
The association said doctors continued to work in poor and unsafe conditions.
NARD on October 27 declared a nationwide indefinite strike.
NARD president said, “Where I practise in Katsina, we treat first.”
Mr Yakubu said that about six of the doctors had been given termination letters.
During a walk on Tuesday in Lagos, the doctors urged the federal government to intensify efforts toward her safe release.
Mr Kabir added that ‘the Japa Syndrome’ was extending down the ladder as more younger doctors were in the process of leaving.
He made the appeal on Monday.
