The state’s Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) confirmed the calamity on wednesday in Dutse through its executive secretary Yusuf Sani.
The boat was said to have been carrying 16 people when it capsized along the Ojo area of the state.

Mr Farinloye said that the returnees were 63 male adults, 73 female adults, 15 male and 13 female children, six female infants and eight male infants.
The three-story building was said to be under construction at the famous Kano textile market when it caved in.
