NMA has given President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime two months to ensure payment of the newly approved hazard allowance to its members.
Mr Kachikwu said the ADC chairman, Ralph Nwosu, was after him for refusing to support his push to have his tenure elongated.
The meeting is to deliberate on solutions to the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
Mr Wabba faulted the federal government’s purported rejection of the Nimi-Briggs Committee report of the university based union’s negotiations.
The union reinstated its commitment to stand by the president and other sacked teachers in the state.
The Fellowship declared June 26 as “PVC Sunday”, and called on churches to mobilise their members who were eligible, to register for their PVCs.
The lecturers are protesting the non-release of approved revitalisation funds, non-release of arrears of the new minimum wage among others.
There are now a total of 111 private universities in the country.
The union had, on April 1, issued the Federal Government a one-month ultimatum that expired on May, 4, to address their demands.
COEASU further said the dilly-dallying posture of Mr Buhari’s regime to renegotiation of COEASU-federal government 2010 agreement remained unaddressed.
