The party pegged the nomination and expression-of-interest fees for governorship aspirants at N10 million and N5 million, respectively.
The body said several attempts to engage the university administration on the issues have so far produced no concrete commitments.
Mr Eze said Nigerians should hold the government responsible in case of any nationwide indefinite strike by ASUU, as the government had failed to do the needful.
The announcement was made during the APC National Executive Council meeting at the State House, Abuja.
“The Labour Party is ideologically distinct, with programmes and philosophy that address Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges,” Mr Abure said.
The communique stated that the meeting was duly convened by statutory NEC members based on the party’s constitution.
According to him, some universities have started shortchanging their staff by paying incomplete salaries.
The Nigeria Labour Congress has called on the federal government to immediately intervene in the issue of cash scarcity across the country.
The alumni accused the council of pressurising the finances of the institution.
The lawyer contended that refusing to hold the NEC meeting violated the party’s constitution.
