“The temple of Justice trembles where justice is denied. We must be a symbol of incorruptible honour,” said the Chief Justice of Nigeria.
“These perceptions, whether wholly justified or not, cannot be ignored. They call upon us to reflect, to reform, and to restore,” said Mr Tinubu.
He urged members of the judiciary to continue carrying out their duties with patriotism.
They demanded reasons for the delay in paying their wardrobe allowances since 2021, despite funding from the state government.
He said the workshop was very timely, especially with the advancement of the telecom industry.
“Therefore, the commission is legally bound to only accept accreditation of a voter on presentation of a valid voter’s card.”
“What we need is a collaboration that will make the judicial arm of government to stand on its feet,” the senate president said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The workshop aims to build the capacity of the judges and equip them with practical insights into emerging issues in the field of telecommunications.
