President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made new appointments for the National Examination Council (NECO) and the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE).
“What kind of leaders waste trillions on luxury and vanity, while the National Library, our intellectual furnace, remains abandoned in the capital?” said Mr Obi.
Mr Alausa explained that variations in the bill of quantities contributed to the delay in completing the project.
Mr Obasanjo stated that completing the headquarters was essential for the country’s development.
He said that the reports indicated that 63 per cent of the entire projects since independence were abandoned.
“We will not fail to raise red flags when your government decides to abandon governance.”
