The appeal stemmed from a judgement delivered by Ms Agomoh on January 30.
Mr Aregbesola, through his lawyer, Mohammed Sheriff, cited lack of confidence in the judge, in his seven-ground argument.
“I, therefore, respectfully request the following: written confirmation of receipt of this resignation, a refund of the presidential nomination fee I paid,” said the aspirant.
Screening of aspirants is scheduled for May 8 to 12, 2026.
