“You know I will not agree. If heaven will come down, let heaven come down so that everybody will be at rest,” said Mr Wike.
He added that Mr Aniebonam provided the platform for the various contests in which the party engaged in the 2023 general elections.
Mr Rufai joins many other top members of the party that have left the NNPP.
“We are challenged. Please, continue to support the party. Our party also needs to be more gender-friendly, and we need more participation from the youths.”

“I can assure you that we are bringing the South-East to the centre. We are going to use it and bring our brothers who are agitating to the centre.”
Mr Ologunagba said that the decision was taken at the 571st meeting of the NWC on Tuesday in Abuja.
APC has nominated Abbas Tajudeen (APC-Kaduna) to succeed Mr Gbajabiamila, and Benjamin Kalu (APC-Abia) as the deputy speaker.
She said that the Lagos state chapter of the Labour Party duly recognises, supports and remains loyal to Mr Julius Abure-led NEC as the authentic party’s national organ.
The appeals would be heard Tuesday at the Wadata Plaza, PDP’s national secretariat in Abuja.
