It is reported that the minister has currently been serving for the past eight months in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Recalling her days as a corps member, Henshaw recounted how she enjoyed uninterrupted trips and the perks of owning the NYSC ID card.
“The corps members were offloaded (from the bus) and taken into the bush,” he said.
“You must, therefore, be focused and strive to leave good and lasting legacies in your host communities,” he said.
YEP is an initiative of NEPC designed to empower the active and intelligent Nigerian youth population to become export champions.
Ms Laha urged the corps members to arrive early to camp while assuring that all arrangements had been put in place to ensure their comfort.
The NYSC orientation camp in Obubura lacks a full perimeter fence and is powered by generators usually switched off at 10:00 p.m.
He assured the state government would embark on a 1.5km shore protection project to check the ocean surge that had submerged about 250 buildings in the last 10 years.

He said that anyone caught violating the scheme’s dress code or breaking the NYSC rules would be sanctioned.
Mr Ude also tendered Mr Mbah’s final clearance letter after completing his NYSC programme.
