Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 4,000 COVID-19 infections. The NCDC said no deaths were reported for Thursday.
The new infection figure indicates an increase of 161 from the 107 infections reported on Tuesday.

Canada said that it discovered two cases of the variant from two passengers from Nigeria.
According to the centre, countries in Europe are reintroducing restrictions, resulting in demonstrations and unrest.
The NCDC also registered 11 new deaths, bringing the total death toll in the country to 2,960.
Bauchi topped the list of new infections with 22 new cases, followed by Edo and the FCT with 17 cases respectively.
Imo has recorded the highest number of infections of COVID-19, says the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
NCDC noted that 231 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres.
Lagos maintained the highest number with 86 cases, followed by Benue, 48, and Bauchi at 41.
