Mr Babafemi said that operatives were already on the trail of the drug lord who shipped the illicit consignment into the country.
Mr Saeed stated that the state’s NDLEA had also detained 56 individuals for various drug-related offences.
Mr Iro said the command would sensitise all hotel operators in the state on the need to evaluate their customers.
Mr Babafemi said no fewer than four suspects: Usman Abubakar, a Chadian; Muhammad Ali, Ibrahim Yahaya, and Babagana Abdullahi were arrested for drug trafficking.
Mr Babafemi said that NDLEA operatives discovered the drugs despite the desperate drug cartels’ various disingenuous modes of concealment.
Mr Babafemi also said the consignor of the outlawed consignment, Ahmodu Sulaimon, was also nabbed after that.
Mr Babafemi said, “six explosive devices, six cartridges, four motorcycles and assorted charms used in terrorising farmers in the forest” were recovered from the suspects.
