NDLEA said a stash of illicit substances, including cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, skunk, and tramadol, was recovered.
The NDLEA spokesperson said, “The inclusion of that item ab initio arose following some ugly developments in some source countries.”
He also shared a video showing the intercepted contraband.
He said the suspect attempted to transport the illicit substance through two of his friends.
He said the attempt was foiled through synergy between Nigeria Customs Service and NDLEA officers at the airport and those at the DHL cargo warehouse.
Mr Babafemi warned those fond of the indiscretion of misusing its official jackets to mislead and create false impressions, to be ready for the consequences.
The NDLEA claims that Suleiman Sidi admitted to have been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre for terrorism and robbery charges.
