The PDP’s NEC has empowered the NWC “to modify and adjust the structures of the campaign councils.”
The union is protesting the non-release of N15 billion and N18 billion revitalisation fund, among other failed agreements by the federal government.
Under the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), the parties are asking INEC to move the deadline from June 3 to August 4.
With the resolution, the NWC is granted ultimate powers to determine all matters relating to the conduct and nomination of party flag bearers for the 2023 general elections.
The PDP has fixed its National Caucus meeting for Monday March 14, and its NEC meeting for Tuesday, March 15.
The protest, which holds next month, will feature CP Odumosu, Segun Awosanya and other rights activists and commentators.
The party spokesman said the approval does not affect executive or legislative offices in the 2023 general elections.
