Neda Imasuen, representing the Edo South senatorial district, has congratulated APC candidates Joseph Ikpea and Omosede Igbinedion on their victory in the by-election.
“Every election, they have been giving opposition leaders fake results. They want to take advantage of that,” claimed the former governor.
“I write to respectfully notify the distinguished Senate…of my resignation from the LP and my decision to officially join the APC,” said Mr Imasuen.
Mr Ogunlewe said Mrs Akpoti-Uduaghan ‘s beauty was the cause of her problems, suggesting she is too ravishing not to attract attention from her male-dominated colleagues.
Mr Imasuen was disbarred for life in New York for swindling his client and absconding with representation fees without making an appearance for her in court.
The Code of Conduct Bureau has highlighted the necessity of collaborating with other anti-corruption agencies to address the issue of corruption in Nigeria.
