Mr Bature said the NNPP State Executive Committee endorsed Mr Abiya’s appointment at an emergency meeting at the party’s secretariat in Kano.
Mr Abbas stressed that the call for Mr Yusuf to join the APC was aimed at building a more united and prosperous Kano State.
He said the APC remains the only party capable of steering Nigeria toward meaningful development.
