NCDC director-general Jide Idris disclosed this in an interview with journalists on Tuesday in Abuja.
The NCDC said the country registered 109 cases in one week.
The centre said the predominant age group affected by Lassa fever was 21-30 years.
“Early diagnosis and treatment of the disease greatly increase the chances of patient’s survival.’’
Nigeria recorded 23,550 suspected cases of cholera in 2022, with Borno taking the lead with 12,459 cases.
The deaths were between December 2022 and early January 2023. They were recorded from Lagos, Kano, Yobe and Osun States.
