The Nigerian Meteorological Agency says Nigerians would suffer flash and riverine flooding in 2023, especially those living in floodplain areas.
The government also said over 25,000 households benefited from the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project.
The government warned that felling of trees without replanting, bush burning and other environmental attacks were now a serious offence in the state.
